The papers of Illinois State’s many presidents hold important clues to the University’s history. These important collections show how Illinois State has grown from a small teachers college and evolved into a national leader in liberal arts education.

Interns hard at work at the Archives

The Archives offers volunteer and internship opportunities to students who want to learn about the archives profession, working with historic materials, and what goes into ‘processing’ a collection. Five students, along with an Archives & Manuscripts class, are working hard on projects.
