Talk on conspiracy theories and the 2024 election, October 9

The second talk in the Democracy in Focus: the 2024 Election speaker series will be held Wednesday, October 9, at 3:30 p.m. in 151 Center for the Visual Arts. Dr. Adam Enders, associate professor of political science at the University of Louisville, will present a talk titled: “Down the Rabbit Hole?: The Political Psychology of Conspiracy Beliefs.” The talk is free and open to the public.

The Sociology and Anthropology Department (SOA) at Illinois State University launched a fundraising campaign in August 2023 with one goal: honoring the legacy of Dr. Jim Skibo by awarding scholarships to first-generation and/or underrepresented students who are interested in anthropology, sociology, or a related major at Illinois State University.
