School of Biological Sciences Seminar Series, March 26

William D. Gilliland, an assistant professor in the department of biological sciences at DePaul University, will present some of his research on the dynamics of chromosome segregation in flies. His presentation, Why Four? The Role of the Drosophila Melanogaster Dot Chromosome in Female Meiosis I” will be from 4 to 5 p.m. in Moulton Hall, room 210.

Fall Research Seminars

Craig Broadbent of Illinois Wesleyan University will present “Water Leasing Markets: An Experimental Analysis” on Friday, October 25 (STV 436, 10:30 to noon). Matthew Winden of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater will present on a topic to be announced.  This seminar will be on Friday, November 15 (STV 434, 1:00 to 2:30pm).

Andrew Chupp presents “Legislative Coalitions and Environmental Voting” in an upcoming session of the Applied Econometrics Workshop.  The workshop will meet from noon to 1pm in STV 347B.
