Join fellow Kinesiology and Recreation (KNR) alumni and families, as well as past and present faculty and staff, for KNR Alumni Day! The pregame reception and silent auction will be in the Club Room of the new Hancock Football Stadium from 1–3 p.m. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be provided, and a cash bar will be available. More than 350 Illinois State fans, alumni, staff, and donors were invited to Hancock Stadium’s dedication Wednesday night. The Redbirds will open the home portion of the schedule this Saturday.
College of Fine Arts students intern in Washington, D.C.
For the second year the College of Fine Arts took part in a universitywide initiative to have summer interns in Washington, D.C. Christina Fontenelle, an undergraduate student studying painting, and Molly Briggs, an undergraduate student studying acting/theatre management, were chosen to represent the College of Fine Arts and Illinois State University at the Smithsonian Office of Exhibits Central and The Studio Theatre, respectively.
