The Administrative/Professional (A/P) Council at Illinois State University continues to offer scholarships to accomplished students whose parents are current A/P staff members or retirees for use as financial assistance to attend Illinois State University.

Ruben Ramirez dreaded going to school as an elementary student. Between the ages of 8 and 11, he moved back and forth between Mexico and Chicago, which not only made school difficult, but learning English as well. At 13, he could barely speak the language.

In June 2024, a team of six Illinois State Agriculture and International Business undergraduate students placed first in the International Food and Agribusiness Management Association World Conference and Global Student Case Competition in in Almeria, Spain.
