Biology student wins Three Minute Thesis competition for research on decoding cancer puzzle
Sumaiya Hasan, a master’s student in the School of Biological Sciences, became the fourth biology student in the Three Minute Thesis competition’s eight-year history to win the top prize.
Focused on the future: Vidette, WGLT collaboration amplifies student journalists
In January, WGLT co-located with The Vidette in a newly renovated building on West Locust Street in Normal. The three-year project resulted in a modern shared space for Illinois State University’s National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate and the University’s student media outlet to produce their award-winning local news coverage.
