Queer Coalition sponsoring blood drive September 27
Queer Coalition, Illinois State University’s sponsored affinity group for LGBTQIA+ faculty, staff, and graduate students, is partnering with the American Red Cross to help meet hospitals’ urgent need for blood and blood products. The blood drive, which is scheduled for Friday, September 27, 11 a.m.-4p.m., will be held in the Rosa Parks Room in Watterson Towers.

Chloé Vicente arrives from Chile as Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence
Chloé Vicente has joined the School of Teaching and Learning and Milner Library as a Fulbright scholar-in-residence. The librarian is the first Chilean to receive a Fulbright award in library science, and the first Chilean to be a Fulbright Scholar-in-Residence.
STEM Fellows making substantial positive impact on STEM degree programs
The Inclusive Excellence STEM Fellowship is a program funded by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute that supports STEM faculty in making the introductory STEM experience at ISU welcoming and supportive.

The Illinois State University Office of Equity and Inclusion is proud to launch a new program for the ISU community called “ISU in Conversation.” These open forums will give Redbird faculty, staff, and students the opportunity to discuss themes relevant to campus and to share concerns and suggestions with peers and ISU leadership.
