To commemorate Illinois State University’s Sixth annual Thank-a-Donor Days, we are excited to share a series of features highlighting scholarship recipients from a few of the colleges at Illinois State and Redbird Athletics.
Scholarship recipient Daniela Grgas is the goalkeeper for the Illinois State University’s Women’s Soccer team. The Las Vegas native is a senior majoring in business administration and organizational leadership and is set to graduate in December 2023.
Scholarship recipient Rachel Zimmer is a special education major from Orland Park. She is set to graduate in 2027 and received the Hunkler-Stagen Endowed Teaching Scholarship this fall.
Scholarship recipient Leo Krueger is from Vandalia. The international business major is set to graduate in 2026.
Scholarship recipient Erin Andrea is a human development and family science major from Oswego. She is set to graduate in May 2024
Scholarship recipient Lillian Ridinger was born and raised in Normal and is majoring in history social-science education with a classical studies minor.
Bone Scholarship recipient Rachel Patterson is in her senior year of the nursing program at Illinois State University. Originally from Waterloo, she is also working towards a minor in Spanish.
