Illinois State traditions such as Homecoming, Founders Day, and Festival ISU become canonized because of the amazing things that happen when Redbirds come together. Giving Tuesday is an emerging tradition that puts that on display.
Alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends came together to support Illinois State University on Giving Tuesday, November 28. Donors made 1,473 gifts totaling $525,496.
ISU has launched Redbirds Rising: The Campaign for Illinois State. The campaign—which began in July 2013 and will continue through June 2020—has a $150 million goal. This is the University’s most ambitious campaign in its history.
After 30 years of service to the Division of Student Affairs, Rick Lewis retired from Illinois State in 2016, but his impact on students and involvement with the University continues.
