The Center for a Sustainable Water Future was created in 2018 to fulfill three main goals: research and scholarship, civic engagement and outreach, and curriculum. Through the introduction of a new, co-taught class, the center is satisfying its curriculum goal and offering a holistic view of water’s roles across society.

Canal by Canal exhibit opens March 1, lecture March 22
The Canal by Canal exhibit runs March 1-31 on Milner Library’s second floor. A lecture, reception and book signing with Dr. Erik Nordman will be held March 22.

Practices that protect headwater streams is the focus of an ongoing study lead by Dr. Joan Brehm. A Field Day will invite farmers to be part of that discussion.
