Illinois State University Politics and Government Professor Lane Crothers will deliver the College of Arts and Sciences Distinguished Lecture at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, in the Bone Student Center Old Main Room.
Antiques exhibitors from a variety of Midwestern states will be gathering from Friday, Jan. 28, to Sunday, Jan.30, at the Illinois State University Bone Student Center to present the fifth Top of the Class Antiques Show and Sale.
“Lawyers, Guns and Money: The trials and tribulations of modern Mexico” will be the topic of a presentation by Janice Jayes, Illinois State University History Department, on Wednesday, Nov. 17, from 12-1 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Third Floor East Lounge.
“Outsourcing Surrogate Motherhood to India” will be the topic of a presentation by Alison Bailey, director of Illinois State University’s Women’s and Gender Studies program, on Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 12-1 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Third Floor East Lounge.
The Illinois State University Planetarium will present the family program Larry Cat in Space, running weekends Nov. 5 – 20. Show times are Fridays at 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 2 p.m.
“Assessing the Impact of the Conflict between Iran and the West on the Global Oil Market” will be the subject of a presentation by Hadi Salehi Esfahani on Wednesday, Oct. 20, from 12-1 p.m. in the Bone Student Center Third Floor East Lounge. The event is free and open to the public.
