Illinois State University’s Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts and School of Music presents Concerts on the Quad, the annual summer outdoor concert series. Performances will take place weekly at 7 p.m. from Monday, July 1 through Monday, July 29 in front of Cook Hall. All concerts are free and open to the public.

Quinlan announced as next artistic director of the Illinois Shakespeare Festival
The Illinois Shakespeare Festival (ISF) announces the appointment of Robert Quinlan as the next artistic director, following John C. Stark who will retire after the 2024 season. Quinlan is the eighth person to hold the position since the Festival’s founding by Cal Pritner in 1978. Quinlan will assume his responsibilities in the fall of 2024 but has been active with the Festival as a director since 2013.
University Galleries presents Grounds May 20-August 6
The 18 artworks in Grounds were selected from the permanent collection of University Galleries. With dates ranging from the early 18th century to the early 21st, these prints, paintings, photographs, and sculptures inform viewers about the multiple meanings of the term “ground” with respect to works of visual art.
