Workshop with focus on assisting Latino/a/x college students coming June 1
Everyone is welcome to attend the second annual Communities of Belonging and Success (COBAS) Taller (Workshop) on Thursday, June 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Williams Hall, Room 314. The workshop is made possible by an Illinois State University Provost Innovation and Enhancement Grant. There is no cost for attending, but participants must register in advance with Lourdes Concepción Cabán at ldconce@ilstu.edu
Bone Student Scholars named for 2023-2024
Illinois State University announced 14 students were selected as Robert G. Bone Scholars for the 2023-2024 school year.
African American Studies presents virtual panel, “The Black Church and Progressive Politics”
The panel will include two speakers, Professor of Political Science Nikol G. Alexander-Floyd from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and Dean of Chapel for Stillman College the Rev. Joseph Scrivner, Ph.D.
Mulligan to deliver Spring 2023 College Lecture, April 3
The Department of Chemistry’s Dr. Christopher C. Mulligan will deliver the Spring College of Arts and Sciences Lecture with “Pushing the Boundaries of Chemical Identification with Mass Spectrometry.” The lecture is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.
