That is the case for two recent graduates of Illinois State University’s Department of Economics.
Dr. Do-Yong Park recipient of third Fulbright
Dr. Do-Yong Park is a recipient of the Fulbright Award for the third time.
The grant will support his project in Hanoi, Vietnam where he will teach a course on research methodology in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education at one of Hanoi’s premier universities of science and he will train lead teachers and administrators in STEM education from rural schools in the northern part of Vietnam.

Creating new partnerships: ISU group visits Moroccan universities
Dr. Roopa Rawjee, executive director of the Office of International Engagement (OIE), along with Dean Dr. Ajay Samant and Dr. Terry Noel from the College of Business (COB) visited two universities in Morocco and signed agreements to expand relations between the schools. The group from ISU visited Al Akhawayn University (AUI) in Ifrane, and Rabat Business School (RBS) in Rabat.

Executive Director Dr. Roopa Rawjee and Director of International Admissions Kayla Carroll from the Office of International Engagement (OIE) were joined by College of Business (COB) Dean Dr. Ajay Samant and Associate Dean Dr. Terry Noel for a visit to universities in India and Thailand. College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Dean Dr. Heather Dillaway joined the group in Thailand.
