Senior actuarial science major Kelsie Klingenberg was awarded the highest honor an Illinois State undergraduate student can receive when she was designated a Bone Scholar earlier this year.
Dean Emeritus Simpson returns to present scholarship
Dean Emeritus Greg Simpson returned to Illinois State University this week to present the Greg and Mary Margaret Simpson Endowed Scholarship to Shelby Johnson. Simpson retired this past summer after seven years as Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Making history: Actuarial student first to win two prestigious scholarships in same year
This past spring, Kristen Marshall, a senior Actuarial Science major, did what no actuarial student in Illinois State history has done before: win the Casualty Actuarial Society Trust Scholarship and the Curtis Huntington Memorial Scholarship in the same year.
