Open access is a goal, not a methodology, and publishers, authors, readers, and funding institutions all continue to explore various options to offer creators that can remove barriers to accessing their works.

New website published on textbook affordability issues
The Illinois State University Textbook Affordability Committee is pleased to announce a new website related to issues in textbook affordability. The website provides information about available campus resources and strategies faculty and students can utilize to reduce textbook costs.
