Individuals and groups across the campus and community were honored with the 2023 Civic Engagement Awards as part of Illinois State University’s annual Civic Engagement Celebration, hosted by the Center for Civic Engagement.

2023 Civic Engagement Fellows named
Philosophy professor Dr. Tom Buller has been awarded the 2023 Civic Engagement Fellowship for faculty/staff by the Center for Civic Engagement (CCE). Sophomore Aubrey Richter was named the Student Civic Engagement Fellow.

Mulligan to deliver Spring 2023 College Lecture, April 3
The Department of Chemistry’s Dr. Christopher C. Mulligan will deliver the Spring College of Arts and Sciences Lecture with “Pushing the Boundaries of Chemical Identification with Mass Spectrometry.” The lecture is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.

Pulitzer Prize-nominated author and scholar Dr. Amy Stanley will deliver Illinois State University’s Robert G. Bone Distinguished Lecture on the problems of narration, methodology, and silence.
