Registrar debuts online transcript process
The Office of the University Registrar is offering a new online transcript ordering service provided by the National Student Clearinghouse. The service allows alumni to order transcripts 24/7 via the Web by using any major credit card. Your credit card is not charged until your order has been completed. “We are happy to be able to respond to the alumni request for this service,” said University Registrar Jess Ray.
To order transcripts, go to Getmytranscripts and select Illinois State University. This will take you directly to the Clearinghouse’s secure ordering site for Illinois State. The site will walk you through placing your order, including delivery options and fees. When you are finished with your request, you can print out the provided consent form and either mail, fax or e-mail it as an attachment directly to the Clearinghouse. Once the Clearinghouse receives your signed consent form, your order will be sent to the University for processing. You will be emailed with updates regarding your request and can track the process of your request online.
There is a $2.25 online processing fee per mailing address in addition to the $6.00 fee per ISU transcript. Transcript requests are generally processed within two University business days. For those who require their transcript to be sent via expedited shipping, it is now possible to request UPS Next Day service for an additional $15 fee.
