Illinois State University School of Music Jazz Ensembles I and II will perform in concert on Friday, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m. in the University’s Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall. Tickets for the performance are $8 general admission, $7 for faculty and staff and $6 for students and seniors.

Jazz Ensembles I and II are directed by School of Music faculty member Tom Marko. Charlie Stokes, an Illinois State music professor emeritus, will be the featured trombone soloist. The ensembles will perform big band jazz music by composers and arrangers such as Bob Mintzer, Kim Richmond, Tom Kubis, Roger Pemberton and Eric Richard.
