The Illinois Technology Foundation seeks nominees for the 2011 “Fifty for the Future” awards. In its 6th year, this event will honor and award 50 Illinois students who have shown they are the most promising students with an interest and demonstrated career potential in technology. This award recognizes future technologists and honors students for their early successes. Judging is done by top CIOs and technology business leaders.

The awards are open to all students enrolled in the following academic programs:
Post-graduate
Graduate
Undergraduate
Vocational
Technical

Nominations open on November 16, 2010. Nominations will be accepted until December 31, 2010. The award ceremony is scheduled for March 10, 2011.

Two School of Information Technology students, Sarah Steffen and Clint Riley, were among last year’s honorees.
