Illinois State University’s School of Theatre is offering Saturday Creative Drama classes for students in kindergarten through 6th grade. The classes, which run from Sept. 10 – Oct. 8, allow children to explore their imagination and develop skills in collaboration, empathy and creativity.
Classes for students in grades 2 – 6 will meet on Saturday mornings from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Kindergartners and first graders will meet from 11 a.m. to noon. Classes will be held in Illinois State’s Centennial East and West Buildings. During the last session on Oct. 8, parents and friends are invited to observe and participate.
Cost for the first child is $60 and each additional child from the same family is $55. Registration deadline is Sept. 6.
