Both the Illinois State men’s and women’s basketball programs will open their respective 2011–2012 seasons in the month of November.
Head coach Tim Jankovich and the Redbird men will hold an exhibition game against Quincy on November 6. Their first regular-season home game is set for November 17 against SIU Edwardsville. ISU will have three more home contests during the month.
The women’s team will open play on Doug Collins Court at Redbird Arena on November 1 during an exhibition game against Missouri–St. Louis. Head coach Stephanie Glance and the Redbirds will host Northern Illinois on November 26, before a November 28 home game against UIC.
Season tickets for either team can be purchased through the Illinois State Athletics Ticket Office at (309) 438-8000, or visit GoRedbirds.com to order online. Single game tickets are also available for the entire women’s season, as well as all the men’s games, through the month of December.
On the men’s side, all upper-bowl tickets for November and December games—with the exception of the UNC Wilmington game on December 3—are $5 each if purchased prior to the date of the game. Likewise, all the general admission tickets for women’s basketball bought prior to the day of the game are also $5 each.
