Third Pacific Rim Conference: A Success!

Six College of Education faculty and staff attended the Third Pacific Rim Conference on Education held at Hokkaido University of Education in Sapporo, Japan on July 7-8, 2012. Illinois State University was a co-host of the conference. In addition to participating at the conference, the ISU delegation visited a Japanese elementary school and attended a board meeting of member institutions.

Dr. Dianne Gardner gave a keynote address, “Teacher Professional Development Policies and Practices in Illinois: Improving Instruction through Collaboration.” The following list outlines Illinois State University presenters and their topics:
