The Sponsored Programs Information Network (SPIN) searchable database provides up-to-date information on current national and international government and private funding opportunities. Users receive regular email notifications linked to search keywords. All of the data in SPIN is obtained directly from the sponsoring agencies to ensure the integrity of the information.
Training to access and utilize SPIN will be provided by RSP staff at this hour-long workshop.
New Faculty Meet and Greet

Find out how we can help with your grant-writing endeavors. Offered to new Illinois State faculty (1-3 years), this program features several brief overviews of the services provided by Research and Sponsored Programs; Government Relations; the Center for Mathematics, Science, and Technology (CeMaST); and Research Ethics and Compliance. There will be opportunity to ask questions at the end of each section and meet on an individual basis with representatives from the various offices at the end of the session.
Pre- and Post-Award Grant Process Training for Principal Investigators, Fiscal Agents and Research Support Staff
2-4 p.m. November 6, 2013

This training provides a general overview of the proposal submission and post-award process. Staff from several University offices involved with proposal preparation and processing will present information and be able to answer questions from participants.
Representatives from the following campus offices will present: Research and Sponsored Programs; Research Ethics and Compliance; Grants Accounting; Human Resources; Budget Office; Purchasing; Property Control; Milner Library; Equal Opportunity, Ethics and Access; and General Counsel.
