Those interested in staying informed about the implementation of the Division of Finance and Planning’s Strategic Plan now have an easy way to track its progress.
Vice President for Finance and Planning Dan Layzell and the senior leadership team of Associate Vice Presidents Greg Alt, Andrea Ballinger, Barb Blake; Assistant Vice President Tammy Carlson; and Senior Associate Vice President Deb Smitley continue to make the recommendations proposed in the strategic plan implementation initiative a priority, and are committed to transparency throughout the process.
“I’m very happy with the progress and teamwork each department within the division has shown implementing our initial action items,” Layzell said. “It’s important that the campus community is routinely kept up-to-date on our commitment to improving customer service and business processes, and the progress we are making in that regard.”
The full implementation of the strategic plan is scheduled to span the next five years, while initially focusing on the most critical priority of improvements in onboarding/new employee processes, division communication, purchasing and procurement operations and processes, management and staff training and development, and technology related processes.
