With more than 80,000 education-related apps in Apple’s App Store, finding an app that works well can be tiresome. Plus, it’s frustrating when you pay for something that ultimately disappoints.
That’s why the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology is pleased to offer a new program that will allow the testing of apps related to enhanced teaching and student learning, and all at no cost.
The iPad® App Exploration Program is open to all Illinois State instructors. CTLT will purchase apps and then loan them to instructors through their Apple ID account, allowing instructors to evaluate and decide just how they might fit with their teaching goals. At the end of the loan period, instructors will be asked to provide a brief report of experiences, so future participants can be better informed.
