The Q Brothers, the hit at this summer’s Illinois Shakespeare Festival, will present additional shows at 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. August 20, 21, and 22 in Illinois State University’s Center for the Performing Arts. The internationally renowned Q Brothers’ Q Gents is a hip-hop adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Two Gentlemen of Verona.

Written, directed, and performed by GQ and JQ themselves, this witty 75-minute adaptation features Proteus and Valentine as high school seniors at Verona College Prep aiming to play college football next year until love threatens both their athletic dreams and their friendship.
