All education majors are invited to attend the Back to School Pizza Party on Wednesday, August 19 from 5-7 p.m. on the DeGarmo Patio. In addition to serving free pizza, drinks, and giveaways, education-focused registered student organizations (RSOs) will be chatting with students about how they engage with k-12 learners and community members around Bloomington-Normal throughout the school year.
Education majors say the people in these student organizations are like family to them, and together they get involved on campus and create valuable experiences that will serve them when they become teachers.
