Countertenor Daniel Schuetz, along with a host of his Illinois State University School of Music colleagues, will present Come Ye Sons of Art, at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 23, in the University Galleries in Uptown Normal. The free performance is part of the School of Music’s Charles W. Bolen Faculty Recital Series.
The performance will feature works by J.S. Bach, Benjamin Britten, Henry Purcell, and Jake Black a.k.a. Rev. D. Wayne Love. Musicians will include voice performers, a string ensemble, woodwinds, brass, piano, and percussion.
