Illinois State alumni are invited to cheer on their favorite Chicago baseball team this summer! Pregame receptions are planned for a Chicago Cubs game and a Chicago White Sox game. After a chance to reconnect with Illinois State and hang out with fellow alumni, we’ll head to the stadium to catch the game.

Due to the overwhelming response, the Illinois State Cubs tickets block has sold out. Redbirds can still join the fun at the pregame event and purchase tickets from the Cubs on their own. Guests will have a chance to meet Illinois State head football coach Brock Spack, men’s basketball head coach Dan Muller, and former Redbird running back and New York Giant rookie Marshaun Coprich ’16 during the reception. Also there will be time to get a few pictures with Reggie Redbird!

Guests will also have a chance to meet Illinois State head baseball coach Bo Durkac and and former Redbird running back and New York Giant rookie Marshaun Coprich ’16 along with hanging out with Reggie Redbird!
A registration fee of $35 per person includes a lower-corner game ticket, heavy hors d’oeuvres buffet, and nonalcoholic beverages at the pregame reception. A cash bar will be available. Plenty of standing room is available but venue seating is limited and available on a first-come, first served basis. Tickets are limited to six per alum per game and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will be distributed at the pregame reception. Also, the first 10,000 fans to enter U.S. Cellular Field will receive a free T-shirt.
