The Office of Disability Concerns is changing the department name to Student Access and Accommodation Services. “The new name reflects our commitment to providing an environment of social justice and inclusivity,” said Director Tammie Keney. The name change will be effective August 1.
The Student Access and Accommodation Services website is now found at StudentAccess.IllinoisState.edu and e-mail will be ableisu@ilstu.edu.
The office is also introducing digital ID cards. Students who are eligible for accommodations through Student Access and Accommodation Services will be issued a digital ID card, in PDF format, to share with faculty. “Digital identification cards offer more flexibility for faculty members and students,” said Keney.
