#RedbirdSetGo 2017: Your best tweets, photos, and posts

Department of Agriculture graduate student, Perry Harlow, shares one of the reasons he loves Illinois State during #RedbirdSetGo.

#RedbirdSetGo began in 2015 as a way to for Redbirds to show prospective students why they love Illinois State, and encourage them to join the Redbird family.

The majority of high school seniors finalize their college plans in April, so #RedbirdSetGo is an opportunity for alumni, current students, and friends of the University to share what they love about ISU.

Now in its third year, #RedbirdSetGo saw a great outpouring of support from the Redbird community.

Some alumni share how they see the immense impact their Illinois State education has had on their career. Others reflect on the amazing people they met who continue to influence them, or take the opportunity to share fun memories and pictures from their years on campus.

“#RedbirdSetGo gives me a reason to reflect on how Illinois State has shaped me as a person,” said Robert Navarro ’91, M.S. ’93, Ph.D. ’02. “But what I enjoy even more is seeing why other Redbirds appreciate ISU, especially current students. It makes me proud to see how Illinois State continues to grow ever stronger by providing even more opportunities for current and future Redbirds.”
