The Illinois Shakespeare Festival invites you to the 2018 Season Announcement at 5 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, at the Ewing Theatre.
Plans for the 2018 season, including the selection of shows, will be announced by the newly appointed Artistic Director John C. Stark.
The event is free, but space is limited. Refreshments will be available. Please RSVP to shake@ilstu.edu with the number of people attending.
There are many factors that go into planning the Festival and building a professional company of nearly 100 artists and craftspeople. The leadership team comprised of Stark, producer Janet Wilson, and managing director, William Prenevost, have been busy working on the details for next summer including the selection of the plays, dates, and other season details. Actors, directors, designers, and others Festival personnel are drawn from all over the country to mount and perform the three productions and other events each summer.
