Professor Ellen Szarleta of Indiana University Northwest will present her research on “Social Impact Analysis: A Theory of Change and the Value of Nonprofits” at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, November 9, at Stevenson Hall, room 401. The event is free and organized by Illinois State’s Department of Economics.
Szarleta is the director of the Center for Urban and Regional Excellence, Indiana University Northwest. She has a Ph.D. in agricultural economics from University of Wisconsin, Madison, and a J.D from University of Iowa.
Illinois State’s Department of Economics comes under the College of Arts & Sciences. The department hosts the Institute for Regulatory Policy Studies (IRPS), a non-profit organization.
