Getting prepared for finals week

Studying in Bone Atrium

Redbirds study inside the Bone Student Center Atrium.

As we approach the close of the fall semester, we’ve compiled a list of important reminders for you to close out your academic semester successfully!

Attend Finals Blitz
Finals Blitz is free course review sessions facilitated by tutors of the Julia N. Visor Academic Center. Sessions will run from November 30-December 10, and are open to all students. No appointments are required and students are welcome to attend even if you have never attended tutoring before.  Writing assistance is also available for last minute paper reviews.

Check your Finals schedule
Final examination schedules have been released in My.IllinoisState.edu. If you have three or more finals on the same day, you can complete a request form to have one changed. The deadline for this request is December 8.

Spring Semester Registration Dates
The last day to register for a spring semester course is December 15. Registration will reopen January 8-29.

When making changes to your course schedule, it’s important to consider your academic plan. Consult with your advisor when making major changes to your schedule to ensure you are on track for graduation.  Advisors are knowledgeable and can help save time, money and effort.
