IT alum Matt Dust (’04) was recognized for his professional achievements during Alumni Day of Homecoming 2017. Matt and his wife Sara were guests of Dr. Mary Elaine Califf, Director of the School of Information Technology, at the Alumni Day Luncheon and also enjoyed both the homecoming football game and the School of Theatre and Dance production of William Shakespeare’s All’s Well That Ends Well.
Matt earned his B.S. in Network & Telecommunications Management from the School of Information Technology in 2004. Following graduation, he began his career with CIT Trucks in Normal, Illinois where he quickly advanced to IT Manager. He has been instrumental in supporting the company’s rapid expansion. As his responsibilities continued to develop, he took the lead in business analytics; determining how the company’s raw data could be transformed into useful sales tools including measurement and reporting. He currently serves as Chief Information Officer.
