Join us in celebrating the retirement of Virginia “Ginny” Riggins from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, May 10, in the Student Services Building, room 314. Faculty, staff, and community members are welcome to attend the reception.
Riggins, who serves as the business manager for Student Health Services (SHS), has dedicated 16 years of service to Illinois State University. She has been an active member of the University community.
“Ginny exemplifies lifelong learning by taking advantage of the many opportunities afforded to ISU staff and students to learn about our community and the world,” said Interim Director of SHS Meg McKeon. “Her commitment to diversity, inclusion, and social justice has been a hallmark of her time at ISU. We wish her the best of luck in retirement!”
Riggins has been recognized for her contributions to Student Health Services and is a recipient of the Student Affairs Star Award for her dedication to serving students. She is well known for her volunteering, supporting events from a variety of departments. “Ginny has been a wonderful resource to me during my time at ISU in her role as business manager, but also for her commitment to the values of SHS and the Division of Student Affairs,” added McKeon.
