WJBC’s Patrick Baron interviewed Professor Julie Webber about the recent youth movement protest, March for Our Lives. In the interview, which took place March 26, Webber discussed the recent manifesto put out by the Parkland student activists. While she describes the political engagement of the gun control activists as “inspiring,” the Politics and Government professor cautions that some of their goals–those to do with mental health privacy issues, for example– may need further consideration.
Webber’s teaching and latest research specialty focuses on youth politics and school shootings.
