The Department of Psychology will present a talk titled, “A Tale of Two Tigers: Using Trauma-Informed Care to Promote Empathy,” with Leandra Parris, Ph.D., from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, October 26, in 208 DeGarmo Hall.
Parris is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at Illinois State University. This event will be the first in a series of talks, workshops, panels, and round-table discussions that the department will host as a part of its new Extending Empathy Project. The events are open to faculty, students, and staff.
