Illinois State to delay opening until 10 a.m., January 15

The University will remain closed until 10 a.m. on January 15 due to the late morning icing event that occurred close to the University’s normal opening time.

All classes that begin before 10 a.m. are cancelled. Lab Schools remain open.

The University will reopen as planned at 10 a.m. on January 15. Please continue to use caution while walking and driving throughout the day as weather conditions fluctuate.  Ground workers will continue to treat campus walkways, stairwells, and parking lots as weather conditions dictate.

Residential dining centers, Bone Student Center, Student Health Services, and Student Fitness Center remain open. Human Resources will communicate with the campus community regarding timekeeping. Continue to check www.IllinoisState.edu for updates.
