Student Counseling Services, in collaboration with Health Promotion and Wellness, is offering female-identified Illinois State students the opportunity to engage in the Body Project, a program developed to help establish and maintain a positive body image
Any female-identified student at Illinois State University!
The Body Project is an evidence-based workshop geared toward female-identified students that aims to promote a healthy, realistic body ideal. The program is offered over two sessions, each lasting two hours.
The Body Project is offered through Student Counseling Services and Health Promotion and Wellness. Implementations take place on the third floor of the Student Services Building.
This workshop challenges the ultra-thin appearance ideal promoted in culture and the media. It encourages students to embrace a positive image of themselves. Students will learn tools and tactics to help combat a negative mindset and appreciate the body they have.
