Illinois State University’s Community School for the Arts (CSA) offers private lessons to students ages five through adult on all major orchestral instruments (wind/brass/percussion/strings), piano, guitar, and voice. Lessons are taught by Illinois State University graduate or upper-class music students who have taken courses in pedagogy and are recommended by Illinois State faculty members. Normally lessons are taught on campus, however due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CSA lesson instruction will occur ONLY online during fall 2020.
Lessons begin the week of August 24, 2020, and run for 14 weeks with 30-minute, 45 minute, or 1-hour lesson options offered. Lesson schedules will be arranged individually between student and teacher.
Visit the Community School for the Arts website for more information about lesson options and pricing, available teachers, and to register.
