Illinois State University’s Mennonite College of Nursing (MCN) will host the first Symposium on Ambulatory Care on Friday, June 5, 2020.
The annual program planning and budget presentations for the Academic Affairs division will be held on the mornings of Tuesday, March 31, and Wednesday, April 1.
Postponed: The March 19 presentation by social psychologist Dr. Jennifer L. Eberhardt will be rescheduled at a future date.
Illinois State University President Larry Dietz has named Dr. Aondover Tarhule as the vice president for Academic Affairs and provost, effective July 1.

Dr. Shari Zeck’s mom, Doris Grube, didn’t have the opportunity to go to college, but she made sure her four children had all the educational opportunities they wanted. To honor her mother’s commitment to education and leave a lasting mark on Illinois State, Zeck pledged a major gift during the Redbirds Rising campaign. The gift establishes the Doris Grube Zeck Library Outreach Restricted Fund.

Playwright Franky D. Gonzalez will be in residence at Illinois State University to workshop his new play Even Flowers Bloom in Hell, Sometimes.
