Riaz said that rampant corruption, lack of inclusivity, and a serious disconnect between the government and the people in Afghanistan have caused the dramatic collapse of the Afghan government. Riaz also said the Taliban has said things will be different under their latest resurgence, but what that means is yet to be seen.
