There’s time to join LIVE WELL with EIGHT at STATE
The Well-being Community of Practice units unveiled Eight at State which strengthens the commitment to advance health and well-being for the Illinois State campus community. The Live Well program aligns with the Eight at State campaign and serves as an avenue to embed holistic wellness into daily lives.
Live Well with Eight at State is a free incentive-based program supporting Illinois State University students, staff, and faculty. It emphasizes a holistic approach to well-being centered around eight dimensions of wellness: emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, and vocational.
Engaging with Live Well is simple: Participants record day-to-day activities that align with one or more of the eight dimensions into the tracking system. This is done throughout the course of the program. As activities are entered, participants accrue points and become eligible for incentives. Weekly motivational emails are sent to maintain engagement levels and participants receive a free Live Well shirt after entering their first ten activities.
