The Department of Educational Administration and Foundations (EAF) is hosting a retirement reception for Carol Pfoff from 2–4 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, in the Founders Suite of the Bone Student Center. This event is open for anyone in the campus community to attend.

Pfoff has been a part of the Illinois State community for over 30 years, the last 11 with EAF and the Center for the Study of Education Policy (CSEP). She has also served in Research and Sponsored Programs (RSP), the Institutional Review Board (IRB), the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IAUCUC), and the Office of the Provost.

As an assistant to the chair, Pfoff is integral to EAF’s operations, including its admissions, scheduling, event planning, and engagement with alumni and donors.

EAF faculty and staff have benefitted from her phenomenal quilting and baking skills. During retirement, she’s looking forward to being an even more involved grandma.

“For many years, Carol has been a guiding force for the EAF Department,” said EAF Chair Dr. Lenford Sutton. “She cultivated wonderful relationships with all of our constituents over the years, and is a go-to person when it comes to finding answers to logistical questions, whether that’s related to admissions, scheduling, or how to put together an awesome event. We’ll miss her efficiency, her personality, and not insignificantly, her amazing culinary skills.”

For those who attend, there will be an optional private video message area where you can share a quick tribute to Carol.
