Angie Cowles is retiring from Illinois State University at the end of January after 30 years of service, 29 of those with University College. A reception in her honor will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, January 28 in room 116 at the Alumni Center. Members of the campus community are invited to attend.
Cowles currently serves as the University College advising office support specialist, where she is crucial in helping manage the logistics of all aspects of the University College Advising program. She is a proud union member having started Union Local 3236 Clerical, where she served four terms as its treasurer. She has made lifelong connections with her colleagues and students in Advisement, and her contributions to University College cannot be overstated.
Please join University College at the reception to show appreciation for all that Cowles has accomplished on campus and to wish her well in retirement.
