The Illinois State University Planetarium will present Sunstruck!, running weekends from March 25 through April 30. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Fridays, and 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturdays. There will be no presentations on April 15, 16, 22, and 23.

Travel back in time to experience the birth of the Sun and its family of planets. Discover how the Sun has come to support, and even threaten, life on Earth. Experience many aspects of our unique star, the Sun, in Sunstruck!

Afterward, each program explores many of the highlights found in the current evening sky. These include the bright stars, constellations, and planets visible from Central Illinois.

Admission to the ISU Planetarium is $5 for adults; $4 for children ages 5-12, seniors, and ISU ID holders; and $3 for children ages 3-4. Tickets may be purchased in the Planetarium Gift Shop, next to the Planetarium, beginning 20 minutes before each show.
