Illinois State University faculty and staff working with equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) efforts on campus are invited to the EDI Leaders Circle Symposium from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. February 6 in the Bone Student Center.

“This symposium is a chance for advocate-leaders to make greater strides toward equity at Illinois State,” said Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer Doris Houston.
The keynote speaker will be Executive Director of the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) Ginger Ostro discussing IBHE’s Strategic Plan, “A Thriving Illinois: Higher Education Paths to Equity, Sustainability, and Growth.”
Sessions will include panel discussions on student success, faculty and staff success, and introductory restorative justice practices as well as networking opportunities. The symposium will end with a plenary session titled “Social and Emotional Health: Building and Sustaining Infrastructure for Support, Belongingness, and Identities.”
