The Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) is accepting nominations for Illinois State University’s annual Civic Engagement Awards. The awards celebrate the University’s core value of civic engagement by recognizing individuals and organizations for their outstanding contributions in this area.
Nominations will be accepted through Tuesday, March 14, and can be submitted online.
“It’s a joy to recognize and celebrate students, faculty, staff, community partners, and RSOs/units for their outstanding contributions to our core value of civic engagement,” said Dr. Katy Strzepek, director of CCE.
“We are excited to offer a new award this year, the Centering EDI Award, that recognizes an individual or group initiative that centers equity, diversity, and inclusion. Our center believes that EDI work and civic engagement must go hand in hand, and we want to draw particular attention to projects that have advanced this connection.”
Categories are:
- RSO Award
- Unit Award
